Captain Elier and crew were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time at sea. We spent the first couple hours catching live bait and then went off to start trolling the waters for fish. It was a little slow to start but eventually caught a nice Jack and then had a few strong bites that got off the hook. Towards the end of the day we starting trolling with lures and caught a few different species as we worked our way back to the marina. Overall was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Elier and company if youโre looking to get out and catch some Costa Rican fish.

Capt Elier and his mate Raul were both very nice . we caught bait first thing , and filled the live well pretty quick, then started trolling pretty quick for rooterfish along a secluded beach , we tried for a while and had no luck so we motor to a spot more out in open water and started fishing for something for dinner and pretty quickly started hooking up. i caught 5 Jack Crevalle which were pretty nice size and very strong fighting fish. a couple of Blue Runners and 3 Rainbow Runners which i kept for dinner. we the shot over to the rocks between MA and Quepos and trolled for Roosterfish again the area we were trolling in was amazing. Elier tried and tried to get me a Roosterfish but it wasnt to be that day. l did a full day inshore trip and he fished right up to 3pm and then some. Also the Capt brought drinks, watermelon and some empanadas for lunch which is a nice plus Raul filleted my fish up at end of trip and I was eating it an hour later. Canโt get much fresher than that 2 things worth mentioning are 1) there is no head on boat , so may be an issue for some. 2) i got picked up at Bahia Azul Resturant. to board boat there may be difficult for some. If you have any balance or mobility issues,he offers pickup for $40 extra at the marina next door, so that may be a good idea for those folks. Overall I had a very positive and memorable experience

We had the most amazing experience with Soleil Sports Fishing in Costa Rica! From start to finish, the crew was incredibly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make my boyfriendโs birthday special, and they did not disappointโwe landed a beautiful Sailfish! The boat was clean and well-equipped, and the team made sure we were comfortable the entire trip.
If youโre looking for an exciting, well-organized fishing adventure with a crew that truly cares about giving you the best experience, this is the charter to book. Weโll definitely be back!

First trip to Costa Rica and i was so glad i booked this fishing trip out of Quepos with Soleil. Captain Elier was my point of contact and was very cordial and had great communication. He answered all of my questions promptly and gave me tips about fishing off shore as well. We went fishing for a full day with Captain Antonio and first mate David. We started inshore and caught sardines on sabiki rigs and then went trolling for roosterfish. Scenery was amazing but fishing was slow so we zoomed offshore and iโm glad we did! We hooked up with four sailfish and landed two! Catches of a lifetime! We were happy with this and wanted to go back inshore and try for roosterfish again and cubera snapper fish. They were very j accommodating and though we didnโt catch those species we caught some grouper, needlefish and some other species off the beautiful coast of Manual Antonio. Capitan Antonio and first mate David were extremely knowledgeable, hard working and it was clear that their first priority was our satisfaction. They are expert fishing guides! Donโt hesitate to book with Soleil! They are great!

My son and I had a blast. On the way out we caught a tripletail under a tree limb. Then caught two tuna trolling and then we finally found the bait. Soon after had a nice sailfish at the boat and hooked four more. Thanks again!
