Not the best day on the water, Captain Kevin just kept mentioning the ones we should have had (bites). I took that as being negative. I was hoping for a much better experience.
We paid $840 for private charter.ย This was bucket list trip for my Dad to catch the big one.ย I know fishing is unptedictable but after hours of not even a bite trolling we asked to switch to bottom fishing and Capt said he wasnt prepared for that so we couldnโt.ย I expect for $800 bucks that the Captain wouldbe prepared for ANYTHING.ย After all, he is supposed to be the experienced professional.ย The next day we went with Anglerโs Dream for.$65 and that crew was completely dedicated to help my dad accomplish his bucket list and did.ย I was in tears as this was emotional trip for me with my dad.ย Save your money.ย Dont use Double Time.

We are sorry Denise you did not have a good day, but that can happen. Sometimes the fish Just donโt do their part. And we are truly glad you managed a better day for your dad the following day. As for the Preparedness. We had everything required for a great day of King-fishing inshore. when the fish werenโt there, We even ran deeper into federal waters, looking for fish, and extended the trip trying to put you on themโฆevery effort was made for the trip you booked..You got more than a value for your money.

Donโt pay $1300 plus a 10%-20% tip for 6 hours of fishing small fish. If you want that Iโll take you to Walmart and buy you a fishing rod and some bait and drive to the edge of the ocean and catch more fish in 6 hours then we did on this boat.
