We had an amazing first experience ocean fishing on my sons 7th birthday. Captain Mike was great with my son, took us on a tour on the water, got some great photos of us, as well as tried his hardest to make the day all about my son! Luck was not on our side this day as far as catches go but that did not take away from our experience and thatโs all thanks to Captain Mike! He invited us back for September to give it another go and hopefully luck will be on our side this day. My son canโt wait to go back!

Captain Mike was a friendly and professional captain! We had so much fun! We caught baby shark, sea bass, a sea Robin. We saw huge blue fish jump out of the water, a bunch of jellyfish, a large school of small fish coming up to the surface! Captain was encouraging and inspiring to my son, and taught some great fishing tips and info, described the geography around us. It was a beautiful memorable day!! And he took pictures for us :-D
Chartered a boat with Captain Mike Smith Fishing Adventures for the wife and myself while she was out visiting from MI. Had an absolute blast slamming bluefish. First time weโve ever caught these, amazing fighters. Captain Mike was great, very interactive and attentive, he taught us a lot. I highly recommend booking with him. If Iโm still out here for work next season, we will be booking another trip.
Captain Mike is a very nice man and made the day fun for us! Even though the big fish werenโt biting he was still able to get us hooked on a lot of beautiful fish in no time at all! He is very knowledgeable of what he does and gave us a lot interesting information. highly recommended if you want to catch fish on a more private small party than on a huge boat with 20 plus people on it. Brought the wife out for her first time Salt water fishing, and out on the ocean really. Had a perfect day, caught lots of fish. Capped off by fresh fish tacos for dinner. Captain Mike was a fantastic guide and trainer, all around great company. Iโve done party boats before but this was worlds better, i highly recommend a charter with Captain Mike! Weโre looking forward to setting something up with him again soon.
