We had a great day fishing with Captain Guy and his first mate Savannah. Both of them were very helpful and knowledgeable and we had a relaxing trip while catching lots of fish. They really made a string effort to put us on the fish, and both seemed like very genuine people. I would highly recommended fishing with them and hopefully we will be back on the Mistress again one day! Maybe next time we will be able to get offshore:)
We did stay on the fish most of the day. We were booked for offshore but I always ere on the side of Safety.ย The sea state would have been uncomfortable at best with 2-4โ and building throughout the day. We stayed inside (ICW) and did the deed. Caught lots of short reds, trout and black drum and released some legal weakfish aka yellowmouth trout after enough were in the box for a few meals. I like to practice catch and release when I can. I look forward to our next trip and, hopefully, weโll be able to get on the big pond then.

Had a very good trip with yโall. Unfortunately the season was closed for the Red Snapper (and we certainly caught a bunch of them). Fortunately we got a couple good cobia (50 & 19#s), a good mutton snapper and a few vermillion snspper. Look forward to fishing with yโall again. Capt. Guy and Missy
Me, my wife and a friend chartered the MisStress for a 4 hours fishing excursion 5/7/17. Captain Guy Spear and First Mate Savannah did an excellent job of making sure the 3 of us caught fish. Capt. Spear is about as experienced as they come and knows the area like the back of his hand. He and Savannah showed extreme patience in teaching us baiting and casting techniques. From novice to pro, this is the boat you want to charter if youโre going to fish the St. Augustine area.
