Guys worked hard to find fish in tuff conditions

I took my brother down to Marathon for his bachelor party along with four other friends. We wanted to get into some good fishing… and we found it. Runaway is a beautiful spacious boat, clean, comfortable, with air conditioning. As soon as we got on the boat, we headed directly to the fishing grounds. Spencer put the bait in the water and the lines were tight in a matter of 3 minutes. I’ve never seen anything like it. The only issue was we had to take a break because our arms were tired from catching so much black fin tuna! On the way in from fishing, the crew filleted up some fresh tuna… marinated it in soy sauce and threw in on ice… we had the most fresh sushi one can ask for. Great fishing, great crew, good friends, sushi, cold drinks, and beautiful weather… Capt. Jay and Spencer gave us an experience of a life time and I’m glad they made my brothers bachelor party special for us.

We had a mix of skill levels fishing for a day with Captain Jay and Spencer.  They took excellent care of us and got us on the fish in minutes!  The boat was really clean and comfortable for a whole day on the water. Will definitely look to fish with them again.

Went with Capt Jay recently on a full and half day. Caught this Wahoo and Sailfish trolling along with some Snapper and Grouper on the bottom.
Went for a half day the next day with the kids and caught plenty of Yellowtail and triggerfish.
Plenty of delicious fresh fish for our trip and took the rest home to the freezer.

Captain and mate went above and beyond to make it a memorable trip. Had non stop action from the first line in. Great trip for the entire family
