We had a beautiful day.  Gaby (the driver) was kind, professional and courteous.  Douglas (The person who looked after the fishing equipment)  was kind, generous and an excellent fishing guide.  He was always active to make sure the lures were in good condition.  The boat was clean and we lacked nothing.  We were delighted to catch 5 Blackfin Tuna and to have the opportunity to see dolphins play around our boat.  The 4 of us are very satisfied with our excursion with Gitana and will recommend this charter to our friends.

My husband and I had a great half day trip! After booking online, I was contacted by the owner of the company, Gary, to ask what our goals were. He explained that the captain, Gabriel would be reaching out before the trip which he did. We arrived at Playa Herradura a little early and took the water taxi to the boat. We started trolling almost immediately with live bait within the cove of the marina. I was a bit confused at first, but the crew was very focused on getting the boat ready. Once all the lines were out we moved to just outside the marina to troll and after a while got a double hook up! Once we brought them in, the crew made sure we were able to get a picture and released them back. They told us that the roosters we brought in were the biggest they’ve seen. We hooked up one more time before the end of our trip with another large rooster. In between hook ups, we were offered fruit, chips, and water. My husband was thrilled to check this fish off of his list. Great fishing day with Gitana

We all want to find the guy with local fishing knowledge but often don’t feel comfortable booking trips off the “resort”. This trip was with an expert captain born and raised in the area. Communication was simple and clear and all services exceeded expectations. I’ve been fishing plenty in the U.S. and can’t stand when a crew or captain is simply going through the motions. These guys truly wanted us to catch fish and busted butt to make it happen.
