After booking the 4-hour morning trip, the owner Garry almost immediately contacted us to determine what kind of fishing we were looking to do.
We targeted rooster fish, and after only a half hour of trolling, the first mate Lucas went out of his way to work the top water to get some action started.  We were fishing with two thirteen year olds, and were able to fight a large jack.
After about an hour, we all made a collective decision to go for mahi-mahi, and the action was non stop for a few hours.
I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for an action packed morning for a reasonable price.

Last-minute booking worked out great. We got really lucky with the crew. The owner Gary called to discuss the details of the trip and find out exactly what we wanted to target. My interest was to focus on rooster fish in Playa Herradura Gabriels and Douglas were excellent and within an hour we hooked up to a rooster fish. Unfortunately, after a nice fight, the line broke at the boat, and we never landed the fish. Luckily, we hooked up again and I landed a really nice Jack. We were more than satisfied with the morning of fishing. Gary checked in to see how the morning went. His attentiveness went a long way. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends.
