Captain Ricky of FLlargemouth Charters put us on some beautiful Peacock Bass down here in West Palm Beach. I came down here from Illinois for vacation and hoping to hook into some nice Peacock Bass and Captain Ricky DID NOT disappoint. My wife crushed it and put the first monster female in the boat and I landed a unicorn of a male at the end of the day. We even landed two at the same time for a great photo. 10 fish in 2 hrs and we couldn’t be happier, 6 for me and 4 for my wife. My wife said she couldn’t help but smile the entire time.
Captain Ricky was an amazing captain and made this trip spectacular for us. The Captain was super friendly, helped out with my wife when she needed, and was attentive the entire time. Great conversation, which can be difficult sometimes, but there was a natural flow, and this made the trip even better. We will be back for sure! Next trip we hope to bring the whole family and some of our younger ones.

Had a fantastic time with Captain Ricky on a 4-hour morning booking!  My son and I were first time freshwater fishers, and Captain Ricky had lots of patience with us and made sure we always felt comfortable and safe.  He was very communicative from the start.  It is evident that he loves what he does and truly enjoys sharing his knowledge with others.  Before we even met at the boat, he took the time to call and find out what we expected from the trip.  He wanted to make sure we had a great time, and we certainly did!  I highly recommend booking with FL Large Mouth Charters!  We hope to book again with Captain Ricky!

I paid for this charter as a gift for my 11 year old son and we had such a great time. Captain Ricky was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.  He put us on the fish right from the start.  He was patient with my boys and coached them on techniques.  We caught a bunch of fish including Peacock Bass and Clown Knife fish.  My sons said this was the best day of fishing we’ve ever had.  Thank you Captain!

Had the best time today, caught 10+ peacocks, a clown knifefish, and a couple largemouths between 2 of us in 3 hours. Ricciardo was beyond cool, knew all the spots, and had a good relationship with all the lakeside residents to the point that they help him by throwing bait into the water to get the fish going. Above all, the premium equipment, mass amounts of the right bait, and the knowledge of the lake this man has, made for the best day of productive fishing I’ve ever had. We had an awesome day fishing with Captain Ricky today on Lake Clarke. I had my son-in-law and two grandsons age seven and five with me. It was super windy so Capt. kept us in canals out of the wind and we absolutely slayed the fish. The boys and caught all the Peacock and Largemouth Bass we could handle as well as an Alligator Gar and a big Mayan Cichlid. Ricky had plenty of live bait and was super patient with the boys. The equipment was great and next time I am So. FL I will definitely book with him again. You won’t be disappointed with this Captain and Charter!
