I had some family and friends in from up north and they wanted me to take them fishing. Unfortunately I’m in between boats right now so I chose Thomas for a fishing charter out of Pompano Beach and we couldn’t have had a better day! He was at the marina ready to go on time, I told him what we wanted to catch and off we went. He has all the gear on the boat to catch anything you want. We mostly did some drifting with the kite out, live bait on flat lines and a couple down deep. I was also doing some vertical jigging. The Kite was consistently going off with fish. I lost a few jigs to some Kings and all of the live bait on the flat lines were getting hit every time. We ended up with a bunch of Kingfish, 2 of the big Kings were in the 35-40lb range. We also caught a huge 40lb Blackfin Tuna as well some smaller False Tuna/Bonitas. Other fish included a Remoray and a huge 8’ shark. We had some fun and fought the shark for about 30 mins on the light tackle. The shark was a tank and eventually cut us off, it was amazing to wrestle with it for that long considering we were only using 30# line. I definitely recommend him and will be booking a few more trips between now and next year when I’ll buy another boat. (Pics coming soon!)

Booked a half day trip for me, my brother in-law and father in-law who is from Kyrgyzstan and loves fishing, even catching freshwater crappie & pumpkinseed up north. We had a blast and ended up catching 2 giant rainbow runners, 2 barracuda and lost a king mackerel. Captain Thomas is young but a great fisherman, working hard to keep the lines baited and in the water and I didn’t see any other boats catching fish that day other than us. We cooked the two huge rainbow runners in many ways including sashimi, two different types of ceviches, grilled and blackened, and we still have more! Also, we cut up a barracuda and deep fried it and it was surprisingly good, just get all the bones out. I highly recommend booking Captain Thomas, and will do so again if I am in town.

A local angler who knows his seas. Literally pinpointed us amongst other fisherman who thought they were fishing a wreck but our guy knew better. We dropped lines and it was shooting fish in a barrel. Thomas also knows his trolls. He is all around a great fisherman.

Capt. Thomas was great - on-time, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area and the Everglades with a clean, efficient boat.  We caught a bunch of bass, saw gators, hawks, iguanas and other wildlife.  10/10, would definitely try again!
