We booked a fishing tour with Chris Stowe on a Saturday in August, and he scheduled our trip early so we’d be one of the first boats on the lake. From the start, Chris was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and determined to get us on the fish. His deep connection to the lake and passion for the sport were clear.

Although we didn’t choose the most ideal date, Chris gave it his all—quickly getting lines in the water and constantly adjusting to keep us on track. Despite heavy boat traffic and what Chris called one of his slowest days, our group of six (ranging in age and skill) still had a successful trip. We caught enough to feed eight people with plenty of leftovers!

All in all, it was a fantastic day—great company, beautiful scenery, and a guide who truly went above and beyond. Even on a slow day, there’s nothing better than time on the water with family and a new friend.

We had an amazing experience, even though the bite was challenging, Bubba did not waste time - moving and trying different spots.  Bubba stayed out a little longer to ensure we all caught something.  At the end of the day, we caught more than enough for what we needed, inspite of the challenges.  Highly reccomend this trip.

booked trip for 4. trip was scheduled for a Saturday afternoon but spoke with captain Chris and he said Sunday morning would be better fishing than Saturday because of weather conditions. Chris knows his business and we went out Sunday morning and limited out in less than 3 hours. thank you captain Chris for everything.  very enjoyable trip
