Came to Charleston not looking for anything, but finding everything. Captain Dan has to be one of the most real individuals I have ever met, salt of the earth type.

We boarded his boat, and nothing was pressing. Figured we get out and catch a few fish to solidify a bachelor party with a different type of South Carolina trophy. Captain Dan was happy to fill us in about the area and answer any questions that we had whether it was fishing or not. We laughed our asses off the entire time.

We caught plenty of fish, pulling up different species of sharks. One of us even got into about a 130 lb. sand shark or more plainly put, a “donkey.” Captain Dan was fired up, and I really think it was, not from a sales standpoint, but from a “love for the sport of fishing” place.

We didn’t want to leave and even tried to book him the following day, but he was already booked. So, we’ll catch him next time we are in town.

The day flew by, but it was the highlight of a trip that all of us will remember for a lifetime.

Fish On!

I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Captain Dan today!  There were 6 of us in our party 4 adults, a 6 year old and a 12 year old.  Captain Dan was very kind and patient with our kids.  He explained everything to them and allowed them to help.  He even let my daughter ride in the Captains seat which she loved!  The adults had a lot of fun working with Captain Dan as well.  He was knowledgeable not only of the fishing but the surrounding area pointing out sights as well.  Our family is already discussing going out for another trip with Dan on our next trip!

I can’t say enough about how fantastic of an experience Captain Dan delivered.  First off he is so passionate about fishing we couldn’t help but be excited all day long.  Professional and engaging throughout the whole trip.  MOST IMPORTANTLY, he had us onto so many big fish that my son and I couldn’t keep up!  We ended the day exhausted from fighting great fish all day long!

Not only will my family book repeat trips but I can’t reccomend Dan enough to anyone looking for a great experience.  Book Captain Dan now!

Great time for sure!

Captain Dan was very professional, friendly, and skilled at his craft.  He knew the spots and we were able to have a good day of fishing despite the bad conditions caused by the water.  Multiple times other captains called explaining their lack of fish while all members of our party were able to each catch at least one. 

Dan even rearranged our schedule the day before to have a later start to better catch the tide.  It worked.

Great boat.  Great captain.  Great time.  Highly recommend.
