Great first time charter on Erie for my wife and I. Captain Chad was fantastic , very knowledgeable and we even maxed out on fish early. Weather was gorgeous even 90* degree day we beat the heat, Very responsive communication. I highly recommend. We are going to book again next summer.

Captain Chad was great. We were up at the lake during a week of high winds, so we weren’t sure if we were going to be able to go on our fishing trip. Chad kept contact with me the whole week, discussing the weather and other possible days for our excursion.  We ended up going out on a Friday and I was so thankful b/c my son was sooo looking forward to fishing.  The boat is on the small side for five people, but it worked out just fine.  We had quite a long ride to get out to where the fish were, but once we stopped and Chad set up the lines, the fish started biting immediately.  We caught 9 keepable Walleye and several babies that had to be thrown back.  Our trip was supposed to be 4 hours, but we cut it short due to the heat. There was no breeze coming off the lake at all and my son got hot to the point of being lethargic and not even wanting to reel in anymore fish. So, we called it a day. I imagine we would’ve caught a lot more had we stayed out. But, we were satisfied with our catch.  Captain Chad was great to work with, friendly and knowledgeable.  We would definitely go fishing with him again.

This was a surprise anniversary gift from my wife. It had been years since I’d been out on the lake. Captain Chad went above and beyond making sure every rig was ready to go and in the water. It seemed like we always had a fish on. Really nice sized walleye and a bonus steelhead. We will certainly book again!

I booked a Fathers day trip for my husband and he and his buddy had nothing but fantastic things to say about Captain Chad! They had a blast and caught their limit! 10/10 will definitely be booking again and recommending Mosquito Creek Outfitters to everyone! Thank you for a wonderful Fathers day experience!
