We had a wonderful experience and will make a trip back just for another fishing day with Captain Sarah. Three boys (10, 13 and 16) and myself went on a three hour shark fishing trip. Not only does she work hard to keep lines in the water, but she also is teaching tips and tricks. Sarah exceeded all expectations of our fishing trip. The boys asked if we can take her back to Florida with us when our trip was over. We’ll be back!

A great day on the water in June 2023.  We have fished a lot of charters over the years out of Murrels inlet. Capt. Sarah was absolutely fantastic, one of the best charter captains around these parts for sure.  She knows these waters, she knows where the fish are, she knows how to catch them, and she knows how to make the best of a questionable weather day.  She is a consummate professional, who follows the rules to the letter while ensuring that everyone on the boat is safe, comfortable, and having a good time. We loved the trip and will treasure the memory.  Go Sarah!

Had all intentions on going further out but with the weather and seas being on the rougher side, captain Sarah done everything in her power to put us on fish closer to shore where the water temperatures were 86 degrees.
The fish wasn’t as active due to that and we still caught fish.
Definitely going on another trip with her next year but we will do the 8 hr or possibly the 10 hr trip.

Even though the freezer isn’t loaded with meat we all had a blast on the trip and everyone caught fish.

We had a great experience on this charter with Austin.  We were visiting from Michigan and I requested an offshore/ocean fishing experience that we couldn’t get back home.  Our crew included my two sons, ages 6 and 4.  Austin was able to safely navigate us through some early rain and choppy weather to a great spot about 16 miles offshore.  We caught a huge Spanish Mackerel and then moved a little closer to shore as my oldest son was getting seasick.  We landed at another great spot catching two large trigger fish and numerous sea bass (most too small to keep but the kids had a great time reeling them in).  Austin was attentive to the kids, helped us bait the lines and reel in when necessary. But most importantly he offered us a safe, memorable experience at sea.  I would highly recommend this trip!

We chartered a 3 hour shark fishing trip.  Capt. Austin was fantastic!  He kept track of the predicted weather conditions and suggested a good time to go.  The boat was simple, but nicely equipped and well taken care of. The captain set us up with 4 or so heavy lines with rods hooked on the boat.  He handed and baited lighter lines for us to use.  We caught a good number of bait fish, which he cut up and used to chum the waters.  He graciously had cold water aboard for us and even baited our hooks.  That was a bit of a feat since there were 5 of us fishing in different locations on the boat.  We caught lots of small fish and two small (1.5 foot) sharks.  The nurse shark shown in the attached picture was caught just as we were about to head back to shore.  It was hooked on one of the heavier lines . Captain saw the bobber go down on the line and grabbed it and passed it to my husband.  The shark was difficult to reel in; it kept pulling the line around the perimeter of the boat as it fought the line.  Captain Austin kept the line from tangling.  I have never seen one person scramble all over the boat as he did.  Even though he made sure the line was untangled, my husband had command of the line the whole time.  We were all excited when the shark surfaced and we took the shark on board.  Capt Austin helped remove the hook and helped us to get a few pictures before we released it back to the sea.  We all had a blast!  I highly recommend!
