What an awesome experience fishing with Captain Seth and first mate Stephen. First off the boat is immaculate in every way from condition to amenities. The boat is rigged with the absolute state of art electronics which helped put us on the fish. Stephen our first mate basically did not sit down the entire day, he was constantly changing set ups to help put fish in the boat. We caught some of your usual inshore species but the real excitement was the red drum fishing, huge fish that were great fighters. The charter was everything I had hoped for my family to experience. I highly suggest you consider this boat for your next OBX fishing adventure.

This was by far my BEST charter/guide experience in my fishing career. I fish regularly on the great lakes in my own vessel, mate with a few local guides, and every year fish many tournaments on our local circuitโฆsoโฆ I can tend to have very high standards on how someone runs their boat. Iโve taken MANY MANY ocean fishing charters over the years everywhere from up north Maine down to the FL keysโฆ On some trips Iโve caught a lot of fish, some I have notโฆthatโs just the way fishing goes. But, regardless of the catch numbers, there are some things I look for that tell me if the trip was with a reputable crew or not. This trip, with Artemis and Cpt Seth stood out clearly above the restโฆ this was THE BEST CHARTER IVE EVER BEEN ON!!! Here are some things that stood out: -clean boat, new, updated tech, top notch in every way (seakeeper tech was a huge plus) -professional captain/mate AND he communicated well before, during, and after the trip AND they communicated with one another well using headsets throughout the trip, which I will steal as a great idea for working up north, they worked great as a team -Cpt Seth took the time to catch live bait as our โinsurance policyโ (peopleโฆlive bait is KEY with big water fishing) Iโve had some captains never bother with bait, never attempt to catch bait, or ask us if we wanted we can spend another $500 for live bait but itโs our choice (yikes!) -Seth had a plan to put us on fish throughout the tripโฆ he even took extra time at the end to see if we could get another species in the boat (even though we had double limits already on ice) -Finally (AND MOST IMPORTANTLY) Cpt Seth knew the โrules of the roadโ with his vessel and operated in a professional, courteous, and responsible manner. He slowed for bait fisherman, dolphin tours, and smaller craft around him at all times.ย This does NOT happen with all F/V operators. Thank you again to Cpt Seth & Mate Steven for a great trip that we will never forget. My daughter has not stopped talking about that top water bite since we hit the dock! ๐ Thank you and tight lines!!!

We all caught some amazing fish and even some unexpected ones. When we went out it was quite choppy but thankfully this boat was equipped with a sea keeper so we were able to stay the whole day. We asked Captain Seth to help us fill our freezer with fish, and boy did he deliver! And we had a blast doing it. Would highly recommend booking with Artemis.

Absolutely fantastic experience! I booked Artemis Sportfishing fishing charter with my daughter and nephews, and we had an amazing time. The crew was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the trip enjoyable and educational. The boat was top-notch and well-maintained. We caught a great amount of fish, which made the day even more memorable. I highly recommend this charter and will definitely be booking with them again. Five stars!
