I caught my biggest fish! (Tysea)
7 Hour Trip – Offshore Bottom/Tower on August 17, 20263 adults1 child

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks, as well as our first offshore fishing tour. We saw dolphins, flying fish, and sailfish while on the water and caught tilefish, mahi-mahi (dolphin fish), and seabass. (bringing home around 100 pounds) The ship was super clean and Steven and Seth were very knowledgeable and welcoming to our group. We also had my 10 year old son with us and they were amazing with him and answering all of his questions. We definitely recommend Seth and his team if you are visiting the area.

Dolphin (Mahi Mahi)

Incredible Crew and an Unforgettable Catch
7 Hour Trip – Offshore Bottom/Tower on July 1, 20264 adults

Our charter trip on Artemis was absolutely flawless. Our group had a wide range of experience, including people who had never stepped foot on an ocean fishing boat before. Captain Seth and his first mate were incredibly welcoming, patient, and highly professional, making sure we felt completely safe and confident on the water. We headed out early and the crew put us right on the fish. The action came fast and furious starting with hard-fighting amberjack, some fun bottom-fishing and culminating in bucket list mahi. The Artemis was a beautiful boat and meticulously cared for. Owen was a powerhouse, rigging baits seamlessly and teaching our group how to handle the different set ups. When we got back to the docks, Capt and crew showcased the days catch and directed us to the marina staff who cleaned, filleted, and packed our fish. If you are looking for a crew that knows how to find fish and knows how to treat people of all skill levels and ensure a good experience, book with Artemis!

Great hospitality
4 Hour Trip – Nearshore (Noon) on June 11, 20265 adults1 child

We originally booked a full-day offshore trip targeting tuna and other offshore species. The day before our trip, we were contacted and informed that sea conditions were too rough to safely make the offshore run. The crew offered alternatives, including finding a larger boat or switching to a half-day inshore trip. When we arrived, we were greeted by the captain and first mate, Owen. The boat was clean, the crew was professional, and the hospitality throughout the trip was excellent. We had a good time on the water and caught fish, but admittedly it was a little disappointing returning to the dock and seeing several offshore boats come back with large tuna catches, knowing that was the experience we had originally hoped for. That said, the crew handled everything the right way. They were upfront about the conditions, took great care of us during the trip, and refunded the difference in cost without any issues. We tipped well because the service was outstanding and we felt they genuinely cared about providing a good experience. While we didn’t get the offshore tuna trip we originally set out for, I have nothing negative to say about the operation. Everything was professional, honest, and above board. I’d have no hesitation booking with them again.

Thanks for the kind words. It's tough for us also to see the big boats go when we can't. I'll never risk getting anyone hurt and with the little one on board it was risky for us. Glad you understood the decision. Hope to see you again, enjoyed y'all.

Good time, good fishing
6 Hour Trip – Nearshore on August 13, 20264 adults

we did a six hour near shore trip for four guys. Very pleased. Nice boat, good crew. Caught enough Spanish Mackerel, Sea Bass and Trigger Fish to feed our family of 10 with some leftovers. Tried for some Black Tips but they just weren’t biting. Overall, a good trip.
