Adriano kept in touch and updated us on all we needed to know about our licenses and permits that he secured for us and the time and place to meet him. He was a professional and experienced angler. He made us espresso right on the boat and offered snacks as well.  Adriano took us all over beautiful Lago del Salto in the hunt for pike and we found them. We would do it all over again! we stopped in Rome, it’s 60km from the lake where we were fishing, the lake was called, the captain came to pick us up in the morning and we fished all day, the lake was very beautiful, we caught licorice, despite the extreme heat this week in Italy we had a lot of fun. I caught a few small basses and one small pike. we changed a lot of places in search of fish, but I think because of the heat we did not manage to catch big fish, nevertheless we had a lot of fun! when we finished, the captain... The only reason it was all 5 stars was because we didn’t catch many fish.  The experience was amazing. The view amazing, our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable.  And he did everything he could to get us on the fish.  I’m sure the near 40 degree heat made the fishing slow.  I wish we had more time as we would have fished more and done it again. I’ve fished a lot over the years and would highly recommend this tour!!

Adriano is a great captain and was a pleasure to meet.  He is an expert and the go to pike guy in the area. He’s an expert in many different styles of fishing. I had a blast fly fishing for pike with him and chatting all day. Italian pike checked off the list!
