Great fishing trip with Captain Kevin in the back bay of Grand Isle. We slammed the trout both days (two back-to-back 6 hour trips), but only one day was easy. Captain Kevin had to show off his skills the second day, but without a doubt, managed to find the fish. While we were mainly targeting Trout since those were primarily in season this time of year,  we caught a flounder, a sheeps head, and a beautiful bull red, which unfortunately we couldn’t keep because of the new LA bag regs. My two long time friends and myself booked an inshore half day trip.  Meet Kevin at the Marina at 6:30 am and headed out.  We started out with some Specks and moved around following the diving birds.  We moved several times just as we needed to.  Caught a few at each spot and moved on to the next.  Our last stop we hammered some larger specks and several large Black Drum with one nice Red.  Great day with my buddies and Captain Kevin.  Equipment was ready to go and in good shape.  We...
