Southern Angler Fishing Charters
Southern Angler Fishing Charters is located in Grand Isle, Louisiana and is one of the best fishing charters in the state. Offering both inshore as well as offshore fishing (within 50 miles), you're bound to have a great experience. Come join Captain Kevin Falgout for an action-packed trip that you won't forget!
The boat you'll use is a 22' Sea Hunt center console that accommodates up to 4 guests. It runs on a 150 HP Yamaha engine and uses Lowrance Elite FS 9" GPS and fishfinder, as well as a VHF radio. The boat also uses a wireless trolling motor so you can approach the fish more discreetly. There's a livewell for keeping live bait and an ice-box so you can store the fish you catch.
Inshore, you can target Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and other species. When fishing offshore, expect to encounter Snapper, Cobia, and more, all within 50 miles off the coast. Using light and heavy tackle, you can bottom fish, deep sea fish, spin, as well as jig. You're welcome to bring kids on your trip.
Captain Kevin will take care of the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures. If you choose to keep the fish you caught, he'll clean it and bag it for you so it's ready for cooking when you return home. Bring snacks, drinks, and fishing licenses for the trip.

We had the best time with Jonah. He was a great guide. Fixed every line when we got stuck in the rocks. He baited a lot of shrimp. We caught sheephead, trout, and reds, will definitely be booking another trip! So much fun!

We did the 6 hour inshore trip with Captain Justin! He was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable of the area and where to fish! None of us had ever fished from a boat in the gulf, but he definitely had us covered! Plenty of live bait and artificial bait. He also did a great job cleaning the fish taking his time to make sure we got all the meat! We will definitely be back to take another trip with him! Thank you so much, you made my boys birthday a success!
This trip is one that these boys will always remeber. The Captain was amazing and put them on some huge fish! We would 100% recommend!
thank yall for coming it was a blast!
Dealing with the owner was easy and the captain was awesome. Early limit on reds, great vibes, and awesome time. We will be back.
we appreciate yall coming out

Our guide Austin was excellent and did a great job keeping the eight year old in our group entertained. Even though the fishing was a little slow we were able to get a nice haul of fish. I highly recommend Austin and look forward to fishing with him again.
