This was the first fishing trip for our party of four and Captain Dennis made it a wonderful experience for everyone. He could tell that we were more interested in just catching a fish and not waiting to catch the perfect fish. He took us to the perfect spots where we caught and released dozens of fish of all different types, which he helped us learn to identify. Everyone had a blast. When we were done with our fishing, he took us on a tour of the bay (which he knew like the back of his hand) and we spotted a herd of wild ponies on Assateague Island—very exciting! Dennis was especially kind and helpful to my son who has autism. He patiently showed him how to use his rod and reel in his fish. What a thrill it was to catch his first fish ever! Dennis made sure that my son felt included and even let him sit next to him behind the wheel while we did our tour through the bay. The boat was comfortable and clean and snack and drinks were provided. We couldn’t have had a better time. Highly recommend!

We booked a morning 4 hour trip. To start the day the bay was as low as it could be. Captain dennis got us catching bait fish right away. We were told it may be a slow morning with the bay being so low with murky water. Despite this, captain Dennis got us on some flounder (5 total). We also landed a very nice striped bass. I would highly recommend captain Dennis for his vast knowledge of the bay and over 30 years experience fishing all over the world. He was friendly and had great stories while keeping us busy with our lines in the water. Will book again!

We booked this trip with captain Dennis and he called and said the conditions were unfavorable and wanted to reschedule the next day. We went out the next day and had the best time. He was definitely looking out for our best interest. My 7 yr old daughter said it was the best time she’s ever had. If I could give higher than five stars I would. From my experience if you are looking to have a fun and relaxing time with your family or friends going with A-dare inshore is a must. Thank you again Captain Dennis for an awesome experience, can’t wait for our next trip!!!!

Captain Dennis was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.  He was ready to catch fish!  We caught a ton of bait fish, then hit the bay.  We all tried, but unfortunately came up short catching anything larger.  Still had a good time out on the water.  They supplied drinks and snacks.  We were offered another discounted trip to help make up for the lack of catching, and that was much appreciated.  Overall, this is a great charter to consider to get some fishing in.  Thanks again Dennis!

Captain Dennis has been doing this his whole life and it shows. His experience and knowledge of the area are second to none. We learned a ton, caught a ton of spot and mullet and used that to catch a great striper just short of slot. He prioritized my son’s experience which was greatly appreciated and what he does with everyone’s children. We were out in tough conditions, we are fisherman ourselves back in central New York and I understood what we were getting into so I was very grateful for what we did catch and we wouldn’t have caught anything without his extensive knowledge of how to get on the fish no matter what. 10 of 10 recommend to anyone coming into the area, book Captain Dennis!
