My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful evening with Frane. The weather was incredibly windy all day, so we weren’t even sure if we’d be able to take the trip. However, Ante and Frane made every effort to still make our sunset, 3-hr trip happen, which they did. Unfortunately, due to the wind that evening, conditions weren’t great for fishing, so we weren’t able to bag anything. But with that being said, Frane was a consummate professional and still took us out for the evening…and we ended up having such a lovely time. We were able to put a line in the water still, which was nice, and then we just enjoyed each others’ company, as well as the wine and domestic cheese/meat plate he brought us. Even though the weather kept us from hooking any fish, Frane still made the trip a memorable one, and both my wife and I have said, it was one of (if not the) most enjoyable nights we had in Croatia over the two-week span we were here. Hopefully we get to come back to Split some time in the near future…and if we do, I have zero doubts we’d book another trip with these guys (hopefully in better weather conditions and for a longer time next time around!). Highly recommended, even given our unique situation. Thanks again, Frane!!

This fishing trip was exactly what we were looking for and Ante is an absolutely fabulous guide and person! The week we were in Split the weather was not great so we reached out to Ante to see if fishing would even be possible. He communicated with us all week and watched weather to find a time that we would be able to go out. The best day ended up being the day we flew out so we were a little worried about getting to the airport on time. He took away all that fear by being generous enough to start fishing a little earlier and he even drove us to the airport. Absolutely amazing! On top of Ante being extremely accommodating and great with communication, the fishing trip itself was fabulous. Ante knew exactly where to bring us to find fish and even in the choppy water of the morning he was doing everything in his power to keep us in position to catch something. We eventually hooked into 2 fish at the same time. Ante was great in guiding us on how bring in the fish and his excitement for us made the experience even better.  Overall we had an absolutely amazing time! I would highly recommend Ante for your next fishing venture in Split. Great guy and great fishing!

My 10 year old son and I went on a full day trip with Captain Ante.  What an amazing experience.  Not only did we fish, or should I say catch, until we couldn’t lift our arms up but then we had a delicious meal prepared by Ante on a secluded beach.  We feel fortunate to have made a friend for life in Captain Ante and will be back as soon as possible for another trip with him.  As you can see, my son was so exhausted he fell asleep on the way home.  That’s what happens when you fish that hard!

My wife and I did the sunset squid trip (we’re very novice fishermen) and even though we had to visit some quieter bays due to windy weather, we had an absolutely amazing evening. Ante was extremely accommodating, flexible, and his excitement was contagious — even on a slow night! Still managed to catch a couple, spotted some blue fish while using live bait, and the wine + snacks were the cherry on top. This was one of the big highlights of our trip to Croatia, would highly recommend!

I booked this trip with capt. Ante for my friends from the US. They wanted to try fishing in the Adriatic Sea and this charter was highly recommended by a friend from Split.
We were lucky with the weather and with the catch - a few nice snappers and one small swordfish which we released. The boat takes you from A to B quickly which was nice for a half day trip. Ante was happy to show us Blue Lagoon and some other less known spots around the islands on the way back to Split. The tour took 1.5 hours longer, but my friends appreciated it for not having to take another boat trip to the Blue Lagoon.
All in all, would highly recommend! Very nice equipment, trusty and knowledgeable guide and good fishing spots!
