We had a beautiful evening charter with Captain Johnny, his son, and First mate Jake. They did a great job helping my dad who is disabled and has a tough time walking. They had comfortable fighhting chairs to support him during the ride and while reeling in fish. While we could see the fish on the radar and tried a few spots, the fish just weren’t biting. But, as the night was coming to an end, Captain Johnny made a good call to move a little further out as the area was getting crowded - and within a few minutes we had 2 lines going with decent sized Salmon! What a great end to the night! I can’t speak highly enough of this Captain and crew, made for a memorable evening!

Cpt. Johnny and his first mate were incredible! I took my wife and 14yr old son out for their first time to try to hook into a big King. Although, we didn’t succeed in our efforts, our Crew Worked their butts off all day to find and keep us on fish. They did an amazing job of doing so. On a day when the bite wasn’t fantastic, we still managed to boat 5 Lake Trout and 1-salmon. Not bad for what was normally considered a slow day. I can’t say enough about the efforts and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants a great day on the water! We will definitely be back and I wouldn’t go with any other Charter in the TC area. Thank you guys for your hard work!

They say, “If you can take a kid fishing, do it!” Our family couldn’t agree more after our incredible experience with Capt. Johnny and Showtime Charters! It was our first time on a fishing trip, and from start to finish, it exceeded all expectations. Capt. Johnny and Liam were friendly, patient, and accommodating, explaining everything as our 9-year-old son reeled in his first catch ever — a moment that was truly priceless! Their experience and knowledge of the lake are top-notch.

Opting for the half-day evening charter was perfect; we spent just the right amount of time on the water and had plenty of successful catches, including one that turned out to be the second largest of the season! Capt. Johnny and Liam shared in our excitement, making the trip even more memorable. Upon returning, they efficiently cleaned and portioned our catch, ensuring we had exactly what we needed for dinner!!

We highly recommend Showtime Charters as a must-do experience! Dont leave Traverse City without a trip with Showtime!

The crew worked extremly hard to make our trip a very unique experience. We hit our limit in the first hour, and fished for fun the rest of the time. We left with a memory to remember, and a cooler full of fillets! Strongly recommend.

Captain Johnny and Liam made special arrangements for us to get out early to have a chance at the Kings.  It paid off perfectly as we had a double on within 10 minutes of dropping our lines.  Lost one but netted a second one on the next pass.  Also caught a couple of Lake Trout.  The boat was spotless and both Johnny and Liam were a pleasure, informative and fun to hang out with.  If we ever come back we will definitely book with Show Time!  Thanks for a great morning!
