Fishing with Captain Akihiro Morioka owner of Jigging Honolulu was a blast. He specializes in the technique of fast pitched jigging. It is a challenge to learn, but we got it down pat. We caught 5 fish: 3 giant trevally (GT), 1 uku known as the blue-green snapper and a kagami ulua (mirror thread fin trevally). This was our second trip. Captain Akihiro is very skilled at jigging. It was fun to learn more technique and practice. We hooked up quite a few times. Very fun, would recommend it, as it’s more action fishing than other charters. Water can be choppy so take your seasickness medicine and bring rain jacket. Thanks and see you again Captain!

Had a great day out with a very experienced skipper in his field ( jigging) Tuned up my angling skills which led to catching GTs,Amberjack,Grouper and silver mirror fish. Would recommend trying this technique as it produces Cheers

me and my wife first time fishing oversea and was just planing to have some fun. Captain asked for cetrtain type of fish you want. We explored lots of different sopts and we got one big amber jack . and till end, he recommend us a restaurant to cook our fish which is also amazing and the best i ever had in Hawaii!
