The boat was clean and stable. The captain was very knowledgeable on what we were doing.As well As helpful with the fishing.

This trip was booked for a birthday present for my fatherโs 75th birthday.
First of all,ย I woke up at 2:30 AM and drove 3 1/2 hours to meet the captain at 6:15.ย We sat around and didnโt leave until after 7 AM.
Then, by 7:30AM. Iโm the captain had insulted my father to the point where he did not want to fish anymore.ย The captain made no point to reconcile with my father and the entire trip was miserable.
Also the captain told us that he had the wrong kind of bait for what the fish were biting currently.ย It seems to me that if we did not have the right BA bait to catch the fish we probably should have gone out another day.
The overall experience was as if we were booking the trip for the captainโs benefit and convenience and not our enjoyment.

Bret they say a picture is worth a thousand words. This is the fish you caught 10 minutes after your father blew up at me trying to help him learn how to throw a spinning reel as he appeared not to know how. I have given instruction to thousands of clients over the years and have never had a client respond like your dad. He yelled that I wouldnโt tell him how to do anything and I could take him back to the ramp. I was stunned. This was after being on the water for a total of roughly 10 minutes. I explained I was just trying to help as it seemed that he didnโt know how to operate the spinning reel. His response again was I wasnโt going to tell him how to do anything. So at that point I felt that we should just fish. In reference to the bait I had explained to you that the bass were feeding on a very very small Shad at that time and we were just trying to match the hatch. I am sorry that you guys dident have a good time like every client that Iโve had in the last 26 years. Yes the fishing was slow but thanks again for the $20 tip after we fished.
