This is a very long boat ride to get thru the canal to the gulf. The trip is 3 hours long but it takes about an hour to get to the gulf and an hour to get back. So basically, you have an hour to fish, shell, etc. Quite boring for kids. Our lines were in the water for maybe 30 minutes total. Maybe a better trip for adults who dont mind a snooze cruz and enjoy a few drinks.
