Bill was amazing and encouraging us the entire time. He made us laugh and catch fish. Fishing is not my thing usually but did this trip for my daughter’s 15 birthday because she loves fishing. She and her boyfriend really enjoyed themselves and really liked Bill. When we return we will definitely book with Bill!!

We had a blast!  Johnathan was very knowledgeable and had a great positive attitude.  We expirinced several types of fishing and types of fish.  Put us on spots that you could pull fish up one after another.  The boat was nice and smooth and all the gear was high end.  We cut up with the capt. all day like we had known him for years.  I will definitely book with him again and I recommend everyone else to as well.  Thanks capt. This was, hands down, the best chartered fishing experience I’ve had to date. I’ve been on some good ones and I’ve been on some clunkers, but this one was a blast. Capt. Willis put us on fish from the very start. First cast pulled up a keeper Red Snapper and within a couple of minutes all 3 of us had caught fish.  We were throwing back “keepers” left and right hoping to bring in a great one.  We finished the trip having kept our limit of 2 red snappers each, but we caught and released close to 30 fish, maybe more.

Capt. Willis was professional throughout, but wasn’t afraid to jump in and joke around with us. He broke the “ice” early on and it made for a very fun and hilarious trip.

As for the boat, I’ve been on quite a few center consoles but this one was THE BEST RIDING boat I’ve ever been on. Any time you fish in the gulf, and even protected bays, the water can get choppy real quick. His boat cut through it with zero issues and remained a smooth ride throughout.

All in all, this was the most fun I’ve had on a fishing trip. If you’re looking for a good trip, this is your ticket. Granted, as with what goes with the sport, you may not limit out on Snapper in 15 minutes, but it won’t be because Capt. Willis isn’t trying. It became clear to us, he will do everything in his power to put you on fish…the “catching” is up to you.

They changed the fishing laws after I booked the trip.  When I booked the trip red snapper was in season.  However 2 weeks before the trip, they changed it to where you could only keep the fish if it were Friday-Sunday.  Kinda of a bummer because OI was really hoping to keep some fresh fish.  That being said it was kind of a waste because the Captain put us right on the gish and we caught about 40 nice red snapper.  That would have made for some really good eating.  The kids did not mind because as soon as he baited our hooks, the lines were in the water for about 20 seconds and we were pulling in fish.  He could not bait the hooks fast enough thats how many we were catching.  My kids have not stopped talking about the trip.
