Week long trip with two days guided fishing with Lost Bay Guide Service. Day one Inland: Weather was sketchy but we pressed on. Fish were temperamental but that’s why we hired the guide and did it pay off. Ran to several spots catching different fish (blue, trout, ect.) looking for “The One” and found it late morning. After a 40 minutes fight landed a beautiful Jack Crevalle thanks to the persistence and knowledge of our guide! Day two Deep Sea: Weather still not wanting to cooperate but headed out to a wreck for the type of fun you can only have deep sea fishing. Beat the bait barge out so caught our own and headed to the site. Fishing was insane and the freezer if full! Amber Jack, Red Snapper, Trigger, and others, they would not stop. Had the kind of trip that will produce stories for years to come. Thanks for the great experience Capt. Bill with Lost Bay Guide Service! Job well done.

Our morning with Captain Bill was the highlight of our Spring Break week with our grandkids! He had us up early to “get to the fishing hole at the right time” but it was well worth it! Our baits hit the water and the fish hit our baits! My wife was the first to land a sheetshead. That set the standard! Captain Bill paid great attention to the kids, making sure they each caught a fish to start their morning right! He is very good with kids, patient, encouraging, and interactive. After several successful landings, we set out in search of other fish. The journey hooked us up with a pod of dolphins, which thrilled our grandson. Captain Bill is very knowledgeable about the waters, the surrounding area (such as the Naval Air Station as we watched the jets come and go!), and items of interest. At one point, he showed us a sunken shrimp boat on his sonar, a fascinating thing to “figure out” under the water! We continued to search for, find and catch fish. It was a wonderful way to spend 4 hours and worth every penny! If you want a great time AND catch some fish, “Hook up with Captain Bill!”

I’ve been fishing with Capt. Bill Willis for over 5 years! And as you might guess, there’s a reason.  FISH!
It’s always enjoyable but no matter the weather, he always seems to find the fish. Our trip yesterday was no exception. While catching white trout for eating, Capt. Bill saw a RED FISH RISE on the water and away we went! All 3 of us in the boat hooked up, and we each landed a nice “BULL RED”. We did that twice more, the last time just as we were headed home. We had a great time! Was fun chasing the bonito fish! And we saw dolphins right up to the boat! Capt was very patient with us as this was our first saltwater fishing trip. Definitely wasn’t ready for the trip to be over!!
