Today started at 7:00 with one of the most beautiful Holden Beach mornings we
have ever seen. Sea was calm and the water was very warm and Tyler took us out very quickly to get the lines wet.  With this type of near shore trip there is no sea bass or snapper and no cobia (as mentioned in the trip description fishing booker) as those are more off shore fish.  Also there is $50 extra with every passenger over 3 three people.. we did not see this mentioned in the trip description (fishing booker).  That said, we had a blast and found the fish through the brotherhood of charter captains in the area as when one capt. found the fish, he alerted all those fellow capts on the water where to go.  We counted upwards of 16 charter boats catching Spanish in the area.  Capt. T also threw out a large spoon looking for a King but no luck this time.  Capt. T made sure we spent as much time fishing as possible.  We could have motored up the beach to attack some Trout but he explained how much time we would lose doing that so we stayed trolling.  We appreciated that.  Capt. T was polite, kind and kept our interests in mind.  The boat was clean and the equipment on board (rods/reels/technology) functioning perfectly.

Tyler was awesome! When we got there he was up front with us and told us it was gonna be a hard day to fish with how bad the winds were but we told him let’s go ahead and try it. Tyler worked his butt off getting us some fish. We caught 9 fish and it was the best trip we have ever had. I would recommend taking a trip with Tyler. We will be back to do another one with him!
