Arrived on time, left port after waiting for another customer to show up. Left without them, only to return to pick him up. (found out when paying he was a cash customer) We headed back out and started fishing. Lew was a good captain, got us to the fish, and was very good, 2nd crew Matt was great, all you could ask for. Removed fish, put bait on hooks, got everything running smooth. Very good. My big issue was with the captainโs friends. 2 guys that said they were crew, but did nothing except take the two prominent spots to fish. Me on one edge/side behind the captains seat, my son one the very rear port side on the edge. His two friends occupied the very rear pretty much across the hole width of the boat. No donโt get me wrong, we caught fish, but it did not sit well with me. Then I remembered reading a review about this happening in the past. I did not say anything because my 16y/o son was having a great time. But beware it still is happening. One other note was we ended up heading back a couple hours early because the other customer was sick. Which was no big deal to me. We had caught a lot of fish and were done by then. However no deal was offered. Lesson learned.

Sorry you didnโt have an enjoyable trip. As far as a deal or credit is concerned everyone agreed to come home early due to the ill Passenger. If you wanted to stay longer all you had to do was ask and I would have considered it,however,in the end the decision is the captains.Passenger safety is our #1 priority. If you werenโt pleased with your fishing spots say something. The spot behind me is generally the best spot on the boat.Your son was in the port corner,another prime spot. The 2 deckhands on a busmans holiday fished for the boat and gave you part of their catch. On that day spots didnโt matter. Plenty of fish were on ice. Again sorry you were disappointed.

Very fun experience.ย Took my family out on the Ocean. Caught our bait fish then went to 2 locations. We were a very inexperienced ocean fishing group the 1st Mate took great care of us.ย We caught a few keepers (which tasted great).ย Definitely would do it again less 1 of our guys as they quickly found out the got Sea Sick.ย Thanks for a good time.
