We spent the morning on a tour with Captain Rob from Tahoe Trophy Trout and it was amazing.ย Cpt Rob was friendly, experienced and very easy going.ย Since I am not a morning person the 5am start was a challenge for me and we were a little late.ย He took it all in stride and we caught some amazing (and delicious) large trout.ย Cpt Rob knew the lake well and knew exactly where to take us to get our haul for lunch.ย I unreservedly recommend Tahoe Trophy Trout to anyone wanting a great experience on the lake.

Really nice morning on the lake with Captain Rob. We caught 3 of 4 strikes, a 3-5 lb brown, 3-5 lb rainbow. and 2 lb stocked cutthroat (released). And still time to visit Emerald Beach to satisfy non-fishing friends.
Capt Rob made the experience super fun. The fishing was a bit slow, but we caught 3 Kokanee and 2 Lake Trout and one of the two was a PB at 11lbs.
