Thanks again for coming down to the bayou to make memories ๐
Although we didnโt come near catching our limit (thatโs why itโs called fishing and not catching) it wasnโt due to a lack of effort by Captain Steven. It was brutally hot, with a full moon the night before making the conditions very challenging. Captain Steven worked hard taking our fish off, baiting some hooks and untangling the occasional mess. Overall we loved our trip and would do it again, just not during the summer months.
My sister and I had the best time fishing with Dave during our very short time in New Orleans. He knew the waters, he worked his ass off to put us on fish and made our time on the water the highlight of our visit. The conversation and banter was unmatched. He went way above and beyond any expectations we had for a very memorable experience. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for the best fishing experience in the New Orleans region, lots of laughs, good company, and he makes a decent sandwich too ;) Thanks again Dave!! Excellent session from start to finish. Capt Dave has buckets of local knowledge and experience. We successfully targeted Red Fish early and then hit a lull in mid morning. Capt Daveโs experience of local conditions and good fish locations meant we moved a number of times but this resulted in being back on the fish and getting the full limit. Seamless and excellent hosting from start to finish.
