Valerie nailed it from start to finish. She guided my 8 and 18 year olds to put 50 fish in the boat up to 5 1/2 lbs. This of course in dead of summer. She knows the spots, the lake history and makes it fun, educational and hits the goal of giving the kids the perfect combination. Teaching them technique while keeping it fun. We never went more than 15 minutes without a fish on. If she is available, book it.

We came down for a Christmas trip and I wanted to surprise my son with a bass fishing trip. Val was more than accommodating, even spending her Christmas Eve with us on Headwaters lake! She had a ton of knowledge on fishing and was an expert about the lake. She spent time showing us different techniques and made sure she put us on quality fish. Val was an absolute delight and we highly recommend her for your next fishing adventure, I know we will be back!!!

Valerie has curated a wonderful bass fishing experience.  Her boat was comfortable and stocked with endless rods and bait.  She found fish in several spots and adapted well to changing weather conditions.  We caught over 50 fish in 6 hours…most of them BIG!
