Sometimes an old fisherman has a great day. If your lucky you find that guide.  I did today with Isiadro.  He lived in Montana and understood the Missoula spirit for an old man fishing.  One More Cast was the outfitter.  I had done well and lacked one more trout.  Isiadro told me the story of his father and thus One More Cast was born in his childhood.  Destiny his boat his wife’s gift to him a great surprise. If you get lucky enough to go fishing with this guide.  You will have a great day to remember along with fish like me.
Our catch was three trout limit.  Four to five thrown back, three drum thrown back. I kept only one drum.  Two nice sand trout.  Three sharks thrown back with a wonderful fight. Oh yes, I may not have many great days left but that Saturday morning was truly one of those great days.

First of all, the captain was amazing and has a great sense of humor.  For months, my daughters have wanted me to take them fishing.  And now that they have, they want to go again.  We’ve done a lot of activities this summer and they said that this fishing trip was better than their visit to Great Wolf Lodge.  The experience was amazing.  It was fun.  The captain didn’t rush our time and took us to different spots.  We caught more than 45 fish; most we kept.  It’s a must that we go again…...with this captain.

This has been one of the best charters I’ve been on. If you want to catch a lot of fish with good people and have a good time this is the boat. I was able to fish with him and his wife and it felt like I was fishing with friends from back home. The knowledge and helpfulness of captain izzy is unmatched. I’m not sure when I’m coming back to Galveston but I’m definitely booking with One more cast dashing charters.

First of all, Capt Izzy is an outstanding fisherman and guide on the water! His passion for what he does shines through to how he operates on the water and treats whoever steps onto his boat. He is highly knowledgeable about the bay area and can easily locate the fish.

He said be there at 630. I was there and he was too. He let me through the gate and we soon hopped onto his beautiful boat loaded with live bait and ambition. We hit the first spot about 10-15 minutes later and proceeded to catch many fish of all sizes and species. A 19 1/2” slot speckled trout was one of the first that was caught and man 😁 it was on from there. In all we caught flounder, speckled trout and black drum to bring home. The only thing we were missing from the Texas Slam was a keeper Redfish and this guy stayed true to his company name; I put every last dead/alive/broken up piece of bait left on a hook and fished until there was nothing but juice leftover in order to catch that keeper red but it was elusive. We did catch some “rat reds” though.

Simply put, don’t let the lower price tag compared to some others fool you into thinking you’re going out for some cheap boat ride to keep you busy. He’s coming with the bait and he’s coming with the want to be out there more than anyone else and I believe that’s what separates him from the rest. Thank you Capt!

The captain was great! The day we booked turned out to be a potential windy day. He reached out prior to confirm if we wanted to move to next day or keep the booking. We moved and that was the decision! We hit multiple spots and everyone of us caught fish. My oldest son caught a 31.5lb drum!

The boat and all the gear is very nice as well. I will absolutely book a trip with him again this summer.
