Captain was good mate was good but the decisions on the bait was bad. Fresh bait is essential on fishing trip. The right bait is essential on a fishing trip when fighting bad weather and rough water. You have to make sure that everything is fresh and ready to go pre-salted old Bait from Walmart or Dick is not Bait for a charter.
Thank you for your review, we were under the impression you had a great time and were very satisfied with your trip. We never use salted bait for our charters and didnโt on yours. We did have bait in a bag that did come from a local bait shop only because he hadnโt got his delivery of boxed squid strips โwhich is what was in the bagโ. The bait wasnโt rotten and the minnows were the same not rotten. If the bait was old it would have been bright pink and the smell would have been evident. The problem was not the bait, rough conditions make for tough fishing. Fishing in rough seas is a great way to get a negative review, I knew I should have turned around but โyou guys were use to itโ. 3 1/2 hour ride due to rough seas.
