We had the BEST fishing trip today with Captain JP! He was absolutely excellent, so patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure we caught fish. JP, our guide, was phenomenal. He kept us updated a week prior and responded to all of my questions immediately. We caught so many amazing fish. He even kept us out longer than our scheduled time. We caught a variety of species of fish. Gigantic large mouth bass and Peacock bass. If you come to Del Ray and want a day of great fishing, JP is the man you want. I will be using him every time I come to Florida moving forward. Can’t wait for my next trip with him.

JP was beyond amazing and so accommodating!  I brought my son for his birthday and his buddy and JP was so patient, kind, and encouraging!  In just a few hours we caught more fish than we could count!  Highly recommend!!  You won’t be disappointed!  Thank you captain JP!  We will be back!!!

We loved our time with JP. Not only was his guiding and equipment great, but his stories and hospitable personality made for a great trip for our family of 3 generations of fishermen. He was especially good with our 4 year old. All my nephew can talk about now is fishing with JP and when are we going back out on JPs boat.

Captain JP knows his “stuff” and we had a wonderful time on our half-day fishing excursion on Lake Ida! He has a helpful, cheerful nature, and we were happy with the variety of the catch!  (He also took excellent photos!) We will definitely book again with the “Bass Whisperer”!
