My 18 year old son, Corey, and I booked Water Walker Fishing’s Captain Jared for an 8 AM to 1 PM offshore trip focusing on catching sharks.  Corey also wanted to go after other fish.  Jared brought along his first mate, Q, who was very helpful in keeping us rigged and baited.  At our first stop, we brought in our first Trigger Fish on the first cast and the action kept up all morning.  We landed numerous Trigger Fish, Redfish and Vermillion Snapper.  Several keepers, which we’ve enjoyed on the grill the last few days.  We also came close to landing a shark and a Barracuda.  We had a great time and will definitely book Jared and Q if we find ourselves back in Pensacola.

Great day on the water. After booking an inshore trip we upgraded to an offshore trip and glad we did. We were updated frequently during the week prior to the date of our trip on the current fishing conditions. We had Captain Jared and we knew from the beginning that we were going to have a good day. The boats and tackle were top notch. He asked us what we wanted to catch for the day and headed out. We caught fish at each stop and could have had our limit of red snapper early in the trip but we kept fishing for bigger and different species. He changed different baits based on the fish and conditions of what they were biting. We caught a bull shark that we fought for over an hour. He was patient and knowledgeable telling us exact depths and tricks to land the different fish. He also let us stay out longer than we booked because it was hard to leave when the bite was so good. I have fished all over the gulf during my family vacations and I can say without a doubt I couldn’t have had a better experience. We had a great day with a great captain and will back in October.

I paid for an off shore experience but only got an in shore dock fishing experience. The owner refused to make it right and welcomed my negative review to make him look more “real”. Any refund offered would have been the tip, which would have been a gift to the guys doing the work. To me that wouldnt have been right. The off shore posted price was $950 and the in shore posted price was $750. I had to request the $200 back and was refused with excuses and a “no-refund” policy. I enjoyed Captian Q and I regret not tipping as I had felt like I already over paid.

Jared & Dennis were great! They were so knowledgeable and really helpful, always making sure we had bait on our line. They didn’t waste time sitting a spot when we wernt catching anything and always did their best make sure we were catching. Jared is also great at driving the boat, so you won’t get seasick. Would definitely book again with him and recommend to anyone.

They are the most nicest and helpful people to work with, will get you on a fish no problem. I came up from Texas for a week long vacation and was tired of getting skunked on the surf. Booked with these guys and they did not disappoint. First spot we went to hooked up and the biggest bull red I have ever had on an end of a pole and it just didn’t stop every spot we went to there where fish.
