I didn’t mean to request the Long Island Sound trip. Would have preferred going out of Mastic Beach which is what I thought was happening. I evidently clicked something that told him I wanted this trip. Nonetheless he made our trip a memorable experience! His mate Harry was awesome and captain Dennis put us on ship wreck where no other boats could be due to his equipment. Caught lots of fish several different species. 100% will fish with DC Charters again
Captain Dennis took great care of us. Serious guy - serious guide - got to the fish and helped us every step of the way. Weather did not cooperate - but Captain Dennis adapted well - we went for fluke instead and were successful. He kept us moving - always looking to get in better position for the fish. We had a super time. Then at the end of our day on the water, (which we loved) - he fileted our catch for us and we went home ready for a fluke feast.

I was visiting my brother in Queens and we wanted to go out for some Stripers. The weather was not cooperative but we had a fun time being out on a boat. Forecast called for light rain but it poured down right at the beginning of the trip. Brother and I were not exactly dressed for a downpour and the wind chill.
Captain Dennis tried his best to keep us comfortable by getting us in less windy areas and helping us to learn more about being out on his waters. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and can get you on fish. He can probably find fish blindfolded around his waters.
We had a slow day but came out with a beautiful 32” Striped Bass. We will be back!

Outstanding half day trip. Captain Dennis showed up on time. Had a great morning of fishing on the bay. He showed us the best way to catch Fluke. Our hooks were never out of the water except to re-bait or travel to a new fishing hole. Dennis even filleted our catch. He’s a hard working, knowledgeable captain. Would recommend without hesitation.

Captain Dennis definitely knew what he was doing. I thought I was going fishing but we ended up going CATCHING!!! Within 25 minutes of a timely departure from the dock we already were getting to the fish. Dennis help teach me how to grab/hold a fish with confidence and also helped a bunch with all the aspects of fishing for lack better words. I will definitely be coming back for another trip and recommend any new anglers who are looking for a great time on the water
