Had a great trip! Captain Ed kept us on the fish & the first mate Christian, aka ‘Cornbread’ was awesome! We encountered more sharks than we would have liked, but the captain kept us moving to try & avoid as much as possible. With the sharks, came MANY lines that were bit through & Christian got his workout typing new rigs all day. They were great!! Even with all the shark excitement, we were able to haul in plenty of snapper. Most were still intact, but one in particular didn’t make it. Lol (see photos) I would highly recommend Mighy Fine Charters & will be going out with them again the next time we are down in Destin.

We had an awesome time today aboard the Mighty Fine!  Our trip was originally booked earlier in the week and the charter management contacted us that morning early due to high winds.  Fortunately they had another open day this week which worked out to be an absolute beautiful day.  Off to the start early to catch some bait fish which was fun and then off to deeper waters.  The captain put us right on top of the fish catching nearly every drop.  We limited out on vermillion grouper and caught quite a few trigger fish, along with some white grouper, and scamp.  Every fish setup and guidance they provided produced immediate results. ( also several other species I forget to identify)  We got in to some Amberjack and boy were they fun.  Caught a nice one nearly 40” and had probably close to a dozen hooked up.  The sharks however often beat us before we could land em in the boat.  The sharks were quite a work out but still a lot of fun.  The crew was incredible and this charter outfit will certainly get my recommendations and future business when I’m back in the Destin area.  Thanks for a great day!

Great trip!  Weather had been questionable up to the day we were to go out.  South winds 10 - 15 knots had things churned up.  But, the day we went out it had laid down for us nicely and the Spanish Mackerel were in a frenzy just outside.  With 6 of us on board we hooked near our limit and pushed out to some of Captain Miller’s favorite hot spots.

He knew just where to get us into fish and we had a blast reeling in a number of different species.  Christian “Cornbread” was busy baiting and taking fish off for us as quickly as he could and did an outstanding job of making the trip fun, teaching the kids what to do, and reminding me not to ‘set the hook’ quite so hard as I am accustomed to.  At one point Captain Miller assured me that I was not Bill Dance and there were no camera crews there filming my amazing hook sets.  Patience and steady pressure is really all that is required to hook them.

Once back in port, Christian had our catch cleaned and bagged for us in no time.  He did a great job of taking care of the boat, the guests, and making sure that we had a great outing.  Both he and Captain Miller were very friendly and outgoing.  Definitely recommend this boat and crew.  You will not be disappointed.

The boat is a custom built hull with new power and a great ride.  Even with some 6 foot long swells and some chop, the ride was very smooth.  There is bench seating in the salon for 6 or 8.  While we were there it was cool and the heater did a nice job of maintaining a reasonable cabin temperature.  There is a head for use while at sea when nature calls, which makes it very family friendly.  Bring your own drinks and snacks and be prepared to catch fish!

What an amazing time. Cap’n had us on fish from the start! Had a great time starting out catching our own bait and then it was go time! We brought in a meat haul. Captain and deck hands Gavin and George were nothing short of great. Can’t wait to be back in June.

My wife and I took our son in law and several grandchildren fishing   Was first trip for granddaughter- Gavin and George were awesome deckhands- helpful and professional in every way- knowledgeable captain- easily caught limit and more - highly recommend- first class
