We had an amazing day with Reel Fun Fishing Charter! The trout fishing was outstanding, and we caught fish all day long. Joseph was a fantastic guide—friendly, fun to be around, and incredibly knowledgeable. He knew exactly where to go, what techniques to use, and was always willing to share tips that helped us catch more fish.

What really stood out was how much Joseph genuinely enjoys what he does. His enthusiasm made the trip even more enjoyable, and he worked hard to make sure everyone had a successful and memorable day on the water.

This was my son’s 16th birthday present, and I’m so glad I chose Joseph as our guide. Communication was excellent in the days leading up to the trip, especially as we monitored some incoming weather. He had the shrimp we requested and the boat ready when we arrived.
The morning started slow due to stubborn fog, but about an hour in we began catching trout nonstop. Joseph rotated us through his favorite spots—while not every one was productive, we landed some massive redfish and eventually got tired of small trout stealing our bait. He kept the boat moving so we never got bored, and he was incredibly helpful teaching us saltwater techniques (we’re primarily largemouth bass fishermen).
Joseph even cleaned our fish, which we took to Waterman’s restaurant. They prepared them perfectly for an unbelievably reasonable price. My only regret is that I didn’t set aside more cash for his tip—he absolutely earned it.

Spent another fanatic day fishing with my grandson and Josh Rose.  A true professional, who grow up fishing these waters, so his knowledge of the bay and the fish daily movements is unbelievable.  He was able to put us on some Sea Trout wade fishing the flats as well as some big Reds and even monster gar from the boat.  Thanks to size limits we were able to keep only a few of the 50+ fish we brought into the boat.  But we bent a lot of rods. 

Josh made the day real fun.  I’m a very young 70 who likes to do a lot of the things myself and Josh accommodated my wishes.  This trip was my first to wad fish salt water, and I loved it.  He is also a great teacher.  I fish more than most, both with and without a guide, normally fresh water.  His coaching on technique and case placement was key in our taking as many fish as we did.  I surely came away a better fisherman. 

This was my 3rd trip with Josh and Reel Fun Fishing.  He surely made it real fun.  I only wish I could make it to the Gulf more often.  Highly recommend Reel Fun Fishing Charters.

The trip was a blast. We caught a lot of fish and between three very different experience levels of fishing we all leaned a lot. The Captian was very patient, knowledgeable, and relaxed. 100% would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing day catching fish.

Amazing experience! We are beginners who don’t know much about fishing, but we were very comfortable and had a great time. Captain Joseph is amazing and we caught some great fish! Would absolutely recommend.
