I will say we did catch a lot of small fish and fish we couldnโt keep due to out of season ย Did have plenty of bait but no chum for reef fishing only tried 3 spots close to shore again no chum overall did catch fish I think itโs more suited for someone who wants to catch fish and release them I wanted dinner and we barely caught a snack so itโs up to you we didnโt even troll coming or going as I said earlier if you have a kid or two they will catch fish for me I took my Ararat out a lot further than this guy went not overly ecstatic just a little disappointed shouldโve spent a little more and went out on a bigger boat in Islamorada

Thank you Norm for taking the time to leave a review. Yes, it is true that Hogfish and Grouper are out of season until May 1st.ย and, I do use chum when it is necessary. However, when the fish are biting I may choose not to. This was a Patch Reef trip and Patch Reef fishing is done close to shore, any further out and we would be doing a different kind of fishing.ย Had I known this was your preference I would have accommodated that request.ย Since we fish on the inside of the reef, trolling isnโt recommended. My apologies that Just Ducky Charters did not live up to your expectations.
