We had a thoroughly enjoyable day out on Challenger. Everything was ready when we got there, and we literally walked on and took offโฆimpressively fast boat which got us trawling quickly. Alan and Ian were engaging and courteous the whole time, and we will definitely be going back out with them again.
Had the good fortune of booking with the Challenger, Capt Alan and his son Ian.ย Great guys, very friendly and worked extremely hard to catch fish.ย Fishing had been slow and we still managed a great catch of 4 tuna and 3 wahoo.ย Capt even waved off on Thur because of winds and said Friday would be better.ย It was still windy but we were able to catch plenty of fish. At the end of our trip, Capt Alan shared, as humbly as you can, that heโd just been elected to the International Fishing HOF.ย Quite an accomplishment, but from our experience, very well deserved.ย Do yourself a favor and book the Challenger with Capt. Alanโฆyouโll be glad you did.
