6 hour morning trip with 3 of my comrades.  Didn’t get a large haul but we all had an amazing time.  The captain and mate were helpful, attentive and professional.

We Wrote Captain Lou the night before the trip, explained that we would like to catch Cobia and Spanish Makaeral, and/or Spadefish which was located on the list of possible fish (which I don’t understand why these fish were even listed ) for the 6 hour trip that we were planning to book. He assured us that we would be catching these type of fish. When we arrived to the boat after booking, he said we were at the wrong placement of the boat and led us to a whole different boat than the one in the photos which was super Strange then he explained that only tautog would be running and we would have to catch this fish only and during the trip we didn’t even try to catch anything but this species whatsoever. We didn’t book a tautog specific trip. We had no idea we wouldn’t be getting any bites nor fish. We only fished with shrimp and one type of Rig It made zero sense that he saw us literally catching nothing and didn’t even attempt to change the rig type or bait , I feel like there could of been more effort into helping us actually catch fish with different rigs and or bait but this didn’t occur. This was our first Fishing Boat Trip We Have taken as a family. We Work a lot and hardly have time to take trips like this. We were extremely Patient. We spent almost our entire trip moving spots and catching zero fish. (6 entire hours) I actually after like 4 hours of just standing very still with the pole as he asked me to do, I figured id try to bounce my pole around some and the captain fussed at me and said that the tautog wont bite with a moving pole. My son at the end of the trip caught two smaller sized tautog in a 6 hour period of the entire trip and he was actually bouncing his pole.  I paid a lot of money to come out and catch specific fish. The captain and mate could of been way more transparent on being unable to catch the fish that we Specifically would have wanted to catch and We made that very transparent to the captain what we wanted. I would of never paid this kind of money or booked a trip like this if I knew We wouldn’t be targeting the fish he let me believe I would be catching and We wouldn’t even be taking the Boat that is in the pictures. We really feel like a lot of things were false promised and we wasted very hard earned money. We love Fishing & This was absolutely 100% a Frustrating Trip. We own our own company, and we Strive to treat everyone like family, its very hard for us to see someone that doesn’t have proper integrity to be honest.

SN: I am a female and was onboard, the bathroom was 100% not useable whatsoever, and the bathroom had water coming (a lot) in the boat. There was zero Toilet Paper, I was unable to use the bathroom for the entire 6 hours. This is unacceptable.

Captain Louis and Chris worked to find and catch fish. We caught fish on an off bite day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, they know their craft and the fishing grounds
