Day 1: yellowtail snapper. Limited out in two hours. Put us on them immediately. Then he took us to another locale for mangrove snapper and jacks. Day 2: off to the Everglades for snook, juvenile tarpon, and mangrove snappers. We were on fish again soon after dropping powerpole. We caught more than expected and then some more. Captain Mark is a home run.ย Highly recommend.
My two sons and I had a fantastic day with Captain Mark. We came to fish for Tarpon for the first time and Captain Mark put us on them. Managed to hook two and bring one to the boat. Plus he taught us a ton about fishing the channels where we caught Snapper, Grouper, Trevali, Rays and Sharks.ย Mark is a great Captain, instructor, and story teller. He has an incredible boat.ย Weโll be back.
We met Captain Mark at the marina he told us that thereโs been a lot of wind that he wasnโt sure how good the fishing was going to be. We hit our first spot after about a 10 or 12 minute boat ride and never left there caught over 100 fish and put a bunch of big keepers in the boat. We caught several jack crevalles which fight amazingly and even hooked into a tarpon one time
Captain Mark gave us a wonderful experience.ย He was engaging, funny, and extremely helpful.ย Even though it was extremely windy, and we thought we would have trouble catching fish, every stop we made, we were immediately on fish.ย We were able to bring to hand 59 fish in six hours, and due to us poor excuse for fishermen, we probably lost 50 fish.ย WOW, what a trip!!!ย THANK YOU CAPTAIN MARK!!!!
Fished a 3/4 day with Captain Mark. Heโs a great captain and knows the waters very well. On this day, we made a haul from Islamorada to the Everglades and we were tight pretty much the whole time - lots of action! We were chatting with captain Mark all day having some laughs too while limiting out on Sea Trout. My only regret is not booking a full day. Those 6 hours go fast when your rod is bent all day! I would highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Mark. I plan on fishing with him again next time I come down.
