The Captain…. Andy Cook that we hired didn’t show up and sent someone else in his place. I get a text saying to call him and I’m thinking it’s the 1st mate becuase it wasn’t the Capt number I had stored in my phone. I call him and he goes on to tell me the weather is rough and we most likely won’t be going out.The weather was going to be great all day.  I tell the gentleman that I was almost there…Early of coarse. Well then he changes his mind and tells me that he will be there shortly.  Still not know the captain isn’t coming. The gentleman shows up late and the boats not ready to go. He then goes to load the boat up with ice and water and then tells us he will be right back he had to barrow a sword fish road from someone else. I didn’t check off going sword fishing. Now it’s 6;30 and all the other boats have left the marina 45 minute ago. He shows back up and tells use nothing. We head out kinda confused but I let it go. No first mate on board. I say something about not having Captain Andy as a our captain. He apologized to me and said he thought Captain Andy told us that he wasnt making it. The new captain was offered the trip 3 days prior to our arrival.
Took us until 10:45 to get bait. We head out further to actually fish for tuna. Yes we arrive 11:20 AM to drop our first line. Crazy the guy Jason was trying to put lines out and drive the boat. I myself have 38ft Gradye White and fish all the time offshore. Have chartered all over the world also. This was a mess…. This Captain Jason was unable to get one line down in 15 minutes without a shark hitting the line in 30 second. Next the live well quits working and kills all the bait we took 3 hours to catch. This Captain tell me he has only had this boat for three days and he told the owner of the boats things wrong on the boat and they decided to put an advertisemnt wrap on it. At this time we have no bait and he said we could move and try sword fishing. once again he has nothing rigged or bait prepped. No heavy rigs were made up…Takes him an hour and 15 minute to cut an string up an ice down fish for bait. We go another 45 minute of a boat ride.  We arrive to sword fish. No heavy rigs were made up I have been on a hundred boats and Captains and 1st mates have a cooler full of ready rigged bait’s. We dropped our line down sword fish at 1:27pm and the Captain never checked the bait one time. I finally had enough and called it quits at 3:30. So it cost me $1500.00 for a boat ride with never touching a pole to fight a fish. Totaling 2 1/2 hours of a 12 hour fishing charter. I get back and I called Captain Andy and he said it posted on his web sight somewhere that he might have a stand by Captain fill in for him and he didn’t have to notify me nexted time I’m in town dont go through FISHINGBOOKER.com and go through him instead and he would give $500 off. What a F**king Joke…Then tells me shit breaks down on boats. Then gives me a fuel bill of $572.00 for riding around all day
