Best fishing trip EVER. Capt John answered all questions before the trip.  He provided precise directions to meet him. Capt John was conscientious, caring and dedicated to giving us a wonderful, worry-free adventure.  His calm demeanor combined with lifelong experiences enabled us to relax, feel at home on his boat and have a good time.  We were lucky enough to catch enough fish to bring home.  He monitored schools of fish and kept us busy reeling them in for hours.  It was a perfect first day of summer.  Mild water conditions allowed us to drift along with the fish. We caught more than we kept, adhering to legal sizes and types of fish to keep. Capt. John and his wonderful mate released all fish necessary to stay within boundaries of fishing rules and regulations.  Capt. John and his mate were very accommodating to our needs, questions and making sure we were having a good time.  They were really nice guys. If you’re looking for a charter boat, Capt. John and Tuna Tail charters is the one.  Look no further.

If you have not had the opertunity to fish with captian john and his stellar 35’, your truely missing out! From the over 40ysr of knowledge in the industry to the beautiful well put together rig and crew he runs, this is by far one of the tightest ships one could book. IF your a serious angler who’s not affraid to do some work which IS fishing this is absolutly the boat for you.  The lessons learned here are 100% invaluable. You want giants he’ll get you giants no BS. I WILL be booking this boat for many more years to come.

I can’t wait to go again!  I appreciated the communication with the Captain before the trip. The weather was a concern for me but the captain recommended a later departure time and it was perfect!  The boat and equipment were clean and well maintained. Captain John and George were friendly, kind, helpful and very knowledgeable. We caught a lot of fish!  They made sure we were comfortable and safe the whole time. Captain John and George worked hard to make sure this was a successful day and it was!  I highly recommend and I will be booking again

John was a fantastic captain , and George was an incredible help. Both of the guys have a wealth of knowledge about the fish you’re catching , and the water you’re fishing in . From giving us tips as to the best techniques, to altering our departure time to give us a better chance at success , they did everything they could to give us the best chance at landing some fish. I would definitely book this trip again and I recommend it to anybody looking for a great trip out of Gloucester .
