My sister-in-law, brother, wife, and I had an absolute blast in Nanaimo fishing with Captain Turk. He was the utmost professional, brimming with passion and care for the precious natural resources he stewards. We were so fortunate to get to meet and fish with him. This was not our first voyage with Capt Turk and it definitely won’t be our last. Even though we weren’t able to keep the fish we each caught, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He seemed more disappointed than we were. It is such a great way to spend a day, He shares his respect of the world he works in and the stories of some of his adventures. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Did catch crab for dinner but even if we had walked away empty handed it still would have been a great day.

He worked very hard to help us catch fish. We’ve caught many salmon but had to release them since the season hasn’t started.

As extreme novices, we were treated to a delightful time. “Turk” guided us through every step. He was helpful with the kids and offered experience insight for the adults. It was just what we wanted to provide a great morning on the water. We enjoyed baked Cohoe for supper! Thanks “Turk!”
