The day of our trip the day dawned very cold in the mid 30s, so we delayed the start time until about noon. It was still very cold and windy but captain Brian made the day for us. He did not stay hunkered down in a quiet cove with no fish. He stayed on the move until he put us on a school of red fish where we put some in the box and caught several oversized fish, then found a slightly protected area where we were able to put some black drum and a sheepโs head in the box.In spite of the cold he kept our spirits high and my two teenage grandchildren, my daughter and I had a wonderful day. I highly recommend Brian if youโre looking for a great day of fishing in the Charles area

Capt. Brian did a great job for my wife & me on a slow bite day. Made sure we had multiple opportunities, which paid off with a beautiful keeper redfish and a very nice black drum, both of which a local restaurant cooked perfectly for us within a few hours of catching.ย Capt. worked very hard, was patient and professional, and made sure we saw some beautiful scenery in our search for fish at multiple locations. Brian grew up fishing in this area, and it shows. Love his boat, too!! Slow catch day, but thatโs fishing, and we loved it! No reservations recommending this guide.

Despite our trip getting cut short due to lightening being a little too close for comfort, we had an excellent experience and were only charged for the time we were out. Captain Brian was awesome and very intent on helping the kids and their dad catch some fish for the fatherโs day surprise trip. Very successful trip for half the regular time because of the weather and it was so nice that we didnโt have time ask for a โrain checkโ or partial refund, Captain Brian just gave us the new total owed for the time we were out.

Brian took us to 4 different river sites and we caught fish at 3 of them, including huge red fish at the last place. He took care of everything, and our job was to simply reel in the fish. He gave ideas, direction, and he knew the river extremely well. Couldnโt ask for a better day of fishing- we caught at least a dozen. Brian was a great guide!

have fished with Brian 6 times. always catch fish. On April 3, 2026 we caught 3 BIG RED DRUM. 38,39 and 42 inch. another great day !!
