His name was ray, but I had never been fishing before and I was hoping for more action or just insight on fishing conditions or things we are passing by, It just felt really slow and the fish cooking recommendation was fantastic. Great experience!  Captain Mike dressed the fish and gave us recommendation of restaurant to cook it.  Freshest fish ever!  We will do this again!

The captain made sure we came back with some fish, he worked vary hard and it payed off in the end. The catch of the day black fin tuna!!! We had a great time.

This charter was good. Our boat captain, Chris, provided a safe trip and is clearly an experienced fisherman. However, he leaves areas for improvement. He has short patience for the novice customer, readily uses foul language, transmits unprofessional banter with other boat captains, and openly complains about the cost of lost lures.  But hey, it’s a fishing charter so prepare for a salty sailor experience! Nice clean boat. Captain John was very nice, educational, and attentive to my wife and I and the other couple on board.  It was a little windy that day so Captain John make sure he brought us to an area that was protected to make sure that we had a nice day.  We had decent luck catching snapper, blue stripe grunts, and various other species. Had a 9 to 10 pound snapper on my line when a 200 pound goliath grouper came up and stole it.  Needless to say I didn’t reel him in! Awesome to see... More
