We are grandparents. Took our 3 grandsons, ages 11, 10, and 6 on a morning inshore 5 hour trip. The weather was perfect, sunrise beautiful as we boated to our first fishing spot. We moved around several times. We caught mostly trout. Some hardheads, skipjack, and gaftop. Captain Dale was so patient with the boys, teaching them the proper way to fish for trout. I would definitely recommend this fishing excursion โ Always an Adventureโ . An added plus is that someone cleans and filets your fish to take home.

Captain Dale took us out for a full day. Within the first 10-15 minutes of the trip he had us reeling in some fish. The fish were a little slow and small to start the day, but Dale took us to multiple spots that provided some great action. We caught a lot and even had to tap out at our limit. Dale had a great comedic energy all through the long day. Made our trip easy and enjoyable. If you like getting hooked and reeling in fish while laughing, Dale has you covered.

Captain Dale was able to put us on fish even though the weather conditions were far from ideal.ย We had a constant wind of abut 20 mph with gusts above that as well as intermittent showers.ย Thanks to Capt. Dale we were able to almost limit out on trout.ย We caught one trout that measured out at 27โ and had to be released and added a nice red to the keepers as well on a full day booking.ย Along with what we were able to land, we lost two more nice reds and several nice trout.ย When we returned to the dock there literally no one at the fillet tables but us.ย With almost twenty-five years guiding in the Corpus Christi Bay area, Capt. Dale knows the nooks and crannies where the big boys hide.ย His craft is well kept with twin engines and his tackle is in excellent condition.ย Pro or novice, listen to his tips as he knows what works.ย We will be booking another trip this coming spring.

First time fishing with Captain Dale was an awesome time! My brother, my 13 year old son decided to book a 4 man trip to celebrate my 10 year old sonโs birthday & boy was it a great decision! It was an early Saturday morning trip, so there were quite of bit of boats out on the water initially, however Dale knew a lot of spots that we had to our own & we had great results. Caught quite a few trout (a few didnโt make length), but the most memorable thing was the birthday boy experiencing a fight of reeling in a giant Red!!! A few minutes later my brother caught another awesome red. Iโd definitely recommend booking a trip with Captain Dale & I will be dishing with him again. Thanks Dale! ๐ฃ
