Trip was scheduled for the day before but was forced to reschedule due to weather. Scheduled for three days later. Got a call from the captain Rick this morning he had someone cancel and we could go this morning. Caught a big amberjack, mangrove snapper, red snapper, vermillion snapper, grey triggerfish, and ruby red lips (which is what we used to catch the amberjack.) Also saw dolphins while out. Unfortunately Captain Rick stated I would be receiving a refund for my deposit through FishingBooker since the original date was cancelled. So I paid him the full balance, anticipating a refund of the deposit. Captain Rick then stated to FishingBooker that the cancelation violated his policy and I got no refund. $750 trip ended up costing us $950. I hate underhanded tactics like this. I am sure he probably got the deposit from the trip that cancelled that we ended out taking.

Captain Rick put us right on the fish. Our 4 hour offshore fishing trip was spent reeling in red snapper literally every 5-10 minutes. We caught over 50 good size red snapper and trigger fish and a couple of other species. The boat is comfy.  His equipment is good and he handled everything in accordance with our needs. Couldn’t have been any better. Highly recommend.

Captain Rick took our family of 4 on an inshore trip and we had a great time.  Fish were on the line almost right away and we landed a huge redfish. When we were done, Captain Rick showed us a great restaurant on the water.

We’ll be calling Captain Rick again. Thanks for the hospitality!
