This was my second time booking Emerald โCโ. This time around, we fished with Captain Gavin and Captain Garrett. These two guys do not play around when it comes to fishing! They have mastered several different fishing techniques and know how to track down the fish. We had to go offshore a bit to snag them as inshore fishing isnโt the greatest this time of year. They put us right on top of Red Snapper and they were biting immediately. Gavin and Garrett are also great at explaining what the fish are doing and why we are fishing with certain techniques. Emerald โCโ is lucky to have two great guys like this on the team! The wife and I will book with Emerald โCโ again the next time we are in the Gulf Shores area. Hopefully we can snag Captain Gavin or Captain Garrett again! Thanks guys!

This was our first deep sea fishing trip. We had a lot of questions and uncertaintys. Captain Craig responded any time I had a question before the trip.ย We actually had a 1 pm appt and he asked if we would like to come at 7 am that we may catch more.ย Iโm so glad he did ! The captains were so helpful with fishing questions and baiting hooks for everyone as well as helping to get the fish in and explaining why each fish was ! We went to several locations to find the best possible catches.ย We even fed a dolphin one of our catches from the side of charter. The captains cleaned our fish and we went home and made some fish tacos! I highly recommend Emerald C charters and we hope to make this a yearly tradition!

The trip was scheduled for inshore 4hr trip but captain Garrett ended up taking us offshore due to to many boats in the water ways to fish inshore. So we went offshore and were able to catch fish. We didnโt catch many I think we ended up with 10 vermilion snapper but we would have caught nothing inshore because the fish werenโt biting and the boat traffic. Would definitely recommend this captain and also captain Eric they really went out of there way to make sure we ended up having a chance to catch.

We went out with Garrett and had an amazing time. We hit 4 different spots for fishing and caught at each spot, some keepers, some put back to grow. Garrett kept us out longer in the hunt for the shark that cut our lineโฆ. We were so close! We had a fabulous time and highly recommend using Emerald โCโ. Captain Craig was easy to hook through FishingBooker and responsive to questions. 5 star day!!!
Gavin was our captain and has great, in-depth knowledge of the shore! He put us on flounder, vermillion snapper and even amber jacks! We successfully hooked and brought in 3 amber jacks! The captain definitely knows what heโs doing and creates and relaxed, enjoyable environment. 10/10 would recommend and am coming back for a third year because itโs just absolutely worth it!
